David Drew has always had a passion for the cinema. Born in 1971, his earliest memory is of going to see The Sound of Music at the old Elgin Cinema (now the Canon Theater) in Toronto during its tenth anniversary reissue in 1975. From that moment on he was hooked. He attended the University of Toronto, first on a full-time basis, then part time, earning his BA in Cinema Studies in 2005. He is currently completing the requirements for a diploma in Film and Television Production at Humber College, where he has worked on short films in a variety of positions, mainly as a writer and director, but also as an editor and cameraman.
